California-based climbing gyms are joining forces this year to pilot a new youth bouldering series from late September to early December.

The competition structure consists of four qualifying competitions in the south and four in the north. Athletes must participate in at least three of these to move on to the championship—held at Touchstone's new Pacific Pipe gym in Oakland. We plan to rotate the championship event between north and south each season.

What can I expect?

This clinic is designed to learn the fundamental M2M movement system of Space, Time, Position. This system allows climbers to dissect movement and look for opportunities to make improvements on the wall. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask about training questions, mental strategies, and injury prevention during this clinic.

M2M is a collective of Coaches, Setters, and Climbers dedicated to providing high-performance environments to the climbing community to push to the limits of climbing movement. Based on decades of experience, our events will share science-backed and competition-tested methods, to provide athletes, setters, and coaches with systems designed to improve their performance.
