The Boulder Field offers several fun Field Trip options ranging from 2 - 3 hours!

These experiences - filled with games and instruction - bring the following to your group:

Price*

  • $280 for a 2-hour visit for up to 10 participants

  • $330 for a 3-hour visit for up to 10 participants

    *Includes rental shoes.
    Participants exceeding the first 10 pay a rate of $28 per person for the 2-hour event and $33 per person for the 3-hour event.

Here’s what you can expect…

  • Arrival: Your group is welcome to arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and set up in an area reserved for your group.

  • Attire: Loose-fitting layers are recommended for comfort and range of movement.

  • Climbing Shoes: Climbing shoes are required, and are included in the Field Trip package. We have a significant selection of rental shoes for youth and anticipate being able to equip all participants. However, in the event that a child is unable to be fitted for climbing shoes, we recommend they wear close-toed shoes with rubber soles as an alternative. Socks are required with the use of rental climbing shoes.

  • Guided Climbing Time: This session includes a short introduction to climbing, supervised climbing, and climbing games with our qualified instructors.

  • Food: Outside food is allowed and encouraged! Our Cafe is currently offering bottled drinks, in addition to a small selection of snacks.

IMPORTANT: Waiver and Safety

Climbing is fun but can be dangerous! We need your help and cooperation in keeping your party a safe and fun experience. Host parents are asked to read all posted general gym rules and youth-specific rules prior to arrival.

  • Please note that in order to enter the facility (non-climbers included), we require everyone to review the Orientation Video and sign the accompanying Waiver below.

  • Adults will need to present a government-issued photo ID, displaying their Photo, Name, and Date of Birth.

  • Minors will need a Legal Parent or Court-Appointed Guardian to sign the waiver AND verify it in person or provide a copy of their driver's license in their absence. Please note: Stepparents, nannies, babysitters, grandparents, siblings, and other non-legal guardians, are not considered Legal Parents or Guardians in the absence of a legal declaration of guardianship.

Booking Information

  1. Field trips must be booked and paid for ONLINE at least 2 weeks in advance and can be reserved up to 90 days in advance. Day-of registration is not available.

  2. The fee for this event covers the first 10 participants and is NONREFUNDABLE under all circumstances, including, but not limited to cancellation, no-show, or an event with less than 10 participants.  The reason for this is that we incur costs by scheduling instructors for the safety of the participants and the quality of the guest experience.

  3. When the event is concluded, participants must leave the facility or purchase admission to remain in the gym (e.g., day pass, membership).
